Why should I read this notice?

This notice explains how we at KampAdmin collect, use and protect your information. You should read it if you are a client or a parent that makes bookings with our subscription module.

What information do you collect about me?

Admins and members: When you book an activity with our subscription module, we collect your e-mail address and password. If you choose to share more information about you in your personal profile, we collect that information as well. With your consent, we will use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browser and your IP-address. You can find more information about that in the (section about cookies) [link/anchor to cookies section] below.

Admins: You are responsible for handling information about your members correctly. You have to inform your members about the information you collect about them and what you do with it. If your members are children, you have to inform their parents. In both cases, you may need to obtain consent from your members or their parents.

How will you use my information?

We use your information to give you access to the KampAdmin platform and to send you e-mails about changes or technical issues that may affect platform performance. With your consent:

  • We use the information collected by cookies and similar technologies to analyze how you use our platform with the aim to improve our technical support by resolving technical issues faster and more effectively.
  • We e-mail you information about the KampAdmin service and helpdesk, such as notifying you about new or improved features.
  • We send you reminders, for example when a new season starts and your activities have to be uploaded to the system.

How long do you keep my information?

Members: Your organization decides how long your information is kept.
Admins: We will erase your information immediately after you stop the collaboration with KampAdmin.

With whom do you share my information?

Technical service providers
The KampAdmin platform is built on top of several cloud services. We have to share your information with those services to make KampAdmin work. These services include:

  • Podio: The heart of KampAdmin. Most of your information is processed here. Stores all files that admins upload to KampAdmin.
  • Heroku: Controls server capacity and performance.
  • Logentries: Collects logs, for example system and web logs.
  • Sendgrid and Mailgun: Our e-mail providers. They deliver all e-mails sent from the KampAdmin platform or its users.
  • Google: Our cloud storage.
  • RedisLabs: Improves system performance by caching popular information.
  • Logentries: Collects logs, for example system and web logs.

Where do you keep my information?

We keep your information at one of Amazons’s datacenters in Dublin, Ireland.

Which rights do I have?

Access: You can request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
Correction: We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
Erasure: You can demand that we erase your information. We are not allowed to erase information about you that the law requires us to keep.
Data portability: You can ask us to transfer your information from our IT environment to another, either to another company’s or your own. This does not apply to information about you that the law requires us to keep.
Withdrawing consent: You can withdraw your consent for sharing your usage data or receiving marketing information at any time. You can do that by sending an e-mail to [email protected]
Complaints: You can lodge a complaint with us or your local data protection authority at any time.

How can I exercise my rights?

Members: If you would like to exercise any of the above rights, please contact your organization. Since your organization is responsible for your information, KampAdmin needs to have the permission of your organization to help you exercise your rights.
Admins: If you would like to exercise any of the above rights, please email or write to us at the following address. If you would like to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, please contact the authority directly.

We keep our privacy policy under regular review and we will place any updates on this webpage. This privacy policy was last updated on 2018-03-22.
